Electrical Installation Conditional Report
Independent testing to keep your site safe, compliant, and running smoothly
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a formal assessment of your fixed wiring—checking the safety, condition and compliance of sockets, lighting, distribution boards and protective devices across your site. It identifies wear, damage, overloading and other risks before they become failures.

What is EICR?
Why does it matter?

Safety first: Find faults early and protect people and property.

Compliance made simple: Evidence for insurers, landlords and H&S audits.

Cost control: Plan repairs and upgrades to avoid downtime and emergency callouts.
Who needs an EICR?
Every commercial business should carry out regular EICRs to stay compliant and protect staff, customers, and assets. This is especially important for 24/7 operations—such as hotels, offices, and warehouses—and public-facing environments like schools, leisure centres, and retail spaces, where constant demand and heavy usage increase the risk of wear, faults, and safety hazards over time.

How often doI need to test?

Typical guidance is every 5 years for commercial (or at change of occupancy), and more frequently for higher-risk environments. We’ll advise the right interval for your site based on use and condition.
